Horizon Degree College Of Commerce

The college is tucked away on Chandrabanda Road in the Raichur area. If you are looking for L.B.S Nagar, you will find our building easily enough. It is a commerce college, so the talk in the hallways is usually about accounts, economics, and business studies. We have students coming in from different parts of the district every day. Some of them take the local bus, while others just walk from nearby. The building has a few floors, and the classrooms are usually quite full during the morning sessions. It gets very quiet during the exam months when everyone is buried in their books or sitting for their papers. Our office staff handles all the paperwork, which never really seems to end. We don’t have a massive campus with stadiums or anything like that, but we have enough room for the regular lectures. In the afternoons, you will often see groups of students standing outside talking about their future plans or just chatting about the last test. It is a simple setup for learning. We try to keep the fans running well because Raichur gets quite hot during the summer months. Most of our teachers have been with us for many years and know the syllabus very well. We aren't trying to be the biggest institution around. We just provide a place for local students to get their degrees without having to travel too far from home.
