Govardhan Overseas Pvt Ltd is based right here in Purnea. We don't have a complicated address with lots of lane names because most people in this part of town just know where we are located. Being in Purnea means we deal with a lot of local stuff even though our name says "Overseas." It’s a busy town and there is always something moving on the streets outside. Our office is a practical space with a few desks and a lot of files. We spend a good chunk of our day on the phone or looking at documents. It gets quite loud during the peak hours when the market nearby is in full swing. We have been working from this spot for a long time and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where we get our drinks in the afternoon. It is a good place to hear the local news. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits or fancy meetings. It's more about getting the papers signed and making sure the goods are going where they are supposed to go. The power goes out once in a while so we have to keep lanterns and back-ups ready. It’s just the daily reality of running a business in this area.
