In Sadhauli, which is part of the Kasba block in Purnia, we have our little setup for Purniaagro Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited. Ravi Raj is the one who handles a lot of the day-to-day things from his place. Purnea is a big place for agriculture, so there is always something to do regardless of the season. We’ve got a lot of farmers involved now, all coming from different parts of the block. It started small, just a few of us wondering how to make the work a bit lighter. Now we have to manage a lot of paperwork which none of us really likes doing. We’d much rather be out in the fields than staring at a ledger. The office in Sadhauli is pretty basic. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually get most of the talking done early in the morning. We don't have any fancy brochures to hand out. If someone wants to know what we do, they just come and talk to us. We’re mostly focused on getting the crops moved and making sure everyone has what they need for the next planting. It’s a simple life, and the company is just a way for us to stick together and handle the business side of things together. We are learning as we go, one day at a time, trying to keep things moving.
