We are located at Giringa in the Saripur area of Balipatana. If you are looking for us, we are under the care of Basanti Mohanty. This is out in the Khurda district but it feels quite far from the bustle of Bhubaneswar. Kankanal Technologies is just a small group of us working from this local spot. The setting is very rural and peaceful which is a nice change of pace for tech work. We don't have a big glass office or a sign with flashing lights. It is just a regular building where we have set up our workstations. The road to get here can be a bit bumpy especially after the rains but we have gotten used to it over time. We spend our days dealing with various technical tasks and sometimes we lose track of time because it is so quiet outside. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just wear what is comfortable and focus on the screens. Being based in a place like Balipatana means we are connected to the local community in a way that big city firms aren't. We know the local shopkeepers and the families living nearby. It is a simple way of doing business and it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world, we are just doing our part and keeping the computers running.
