Golden Green Restaurant

Our place is on CT Road in Puri. If you’ve ever walked down that way, you know it’s the main stretch where everyone hangs out. We’ve been here for a bit, right near the 752002 pin code area. Being in a town like Puri, things change depending on the season. When the festivals are on, it’s absolutely packed out there on the street. Other times, it’s just the usual locals and some travelers passing through. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. It's just a restaurant where we cook and serve food. We open up early, get the tables set, and wait for the first crowd to walk in. CT Road has a lot of energy, and we just fit into that somehow. The salt air from the coast... well, it sometimes makes the metal rust faster, so there is always something to fix or paint. It’s just the way it is living so close to the water. We don’t have a big fancy menu with glossy pictures. It’s mostly just what we know how to make. People come in, they eat, they leave. We try to keep the place cool when it’s hot outside. It’s a lot of long hours, especially on weekends, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We just focus on the daily tasks like cleaning the floors and checking the pantry. If you’re wandering around CT Road, you’ll stumble across us eventually. It’s a steady life for us here in Puri.
