Rshiv Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located in Dumri, right near Sasaram in the Rohtas area of Bihar. A few of us farmers got together to form Rshiv Agro because it felt like the right thing to do for the village. We’ve all been working the soil around here for a very long time, and we know these fields inside and out. Sasaram is a place where you see green fields for miles, and we are right in the middle of it all. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. We just have our hands and our crops. Sometimes we sit around and talk about the water levels in the canal or the high price of fertilizer this year. It’s not always easy, especially when the monsoon doesn't play along. We just try to keep things simple and honest. If you come looking for us, we’re probably out back or checking on something in the village center. It’s a small operation, really. We just want to get the produce out and make sure things are running okay for everyone involved. There’s no big corporate ladder here or bosses in suits. It’s just neighbors. We use the same bumpy roads every day and share the same worries about the insects and the heat. Some days are long, and some are even longer during the planting season when the sun never seems to go down. We just do the work and try to stay ahead of the bills. Rohtas is our home and we aren’t going anywhere.
