Devraj Agritech Farmer Producer Company Limited is run out of Devendra Nath Pandey’s place in Bhat Jamuawa Paikauli. We are in the Maharaj area and most of us here have been farming since we were kids. This company was started so we could get better seeds and tools for our fields. It’s hard to do that when you are just one person, so we joined up. Mr. Pandey helps us keep things moving along. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. It’s just neighbors helping neighbors. We talk about the crops over tea and decide what we are going to grow next. The weather around here can be tough, so we try to share advice on what works best for the soil in Bhat Jamuawa. We are practical people. If a machine breaks down, we try to fix it ourselves. If the crops are doing well, we are happy. It’s not a corporate lifestyle at all. Our hands are usually covered in mud or grease. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming for a long time. Everything has its own time, from planting to harvesting, and we just follow the cycle of the seasons like our fathers did before us. It is just a basic way of life for us and we are fine with that.
