Our crew has been around Burdwan for a bit now, specifically over in Kalnagate. The office is right there in Deshbandhu Nagar. It is a private limited setup but feels more like a local operation. We handle engineering and building projects. Sometimes the weather in West Bengal makes the work tough, especially during the monsoon, but we keep at it. My father, Gouranga Chandra Nag, started things and is well known around here. We just try to get the jobs done without too much fuss. It isn't always easy managing a crew and getting materials delivered to the site on time. There is always something to fix or a plan that needs adjusting once you start digging. People come by the office in Burdwan to talk about their houses or whatever they need built. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything, just a desk and some maps and blueprints scattered around. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. The streets around 713101 are familiar to us like the back of our hands. It is hard work, mostly out in the sun or dirt, but that is just how construction goes. Becoming the biggest company isn't the goal here. Our focus is mostly on making sure the walls we put up stay standing and that the engineering part makes sense for the ground we are building on.
