We are located at Ranisati Ply And Hardware, which is at 45/46 on G. T. Road (East). It’s right next to the ICICI Bank and the Durga Mandir here in the Burdwan district. Being on G.T. Road means it’s always loud with trucks and cars passing by at all hours. We have been here for a good while, dealing with plywood, hardware, and all the stuff people need when they are building or fixing things up. The shop is usually full of stacks of wood and boxes of hinges or handles. It can get a bit dusty with all the materials moving in and out. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s more of a local operation where we know the neighbors and the regulars who come in for supplies. Usually, one of us is around to help find a specific bolt or tell you which plywood might work for a cupboard. The Durga Mandir is a great landmark for people who haven't been here before. Things can get pretty hectic during the festival seasons or when a big shipment arrives and we have to unload everything manually onto the floor. We just focus on keeping the inventory stocked and making sure people get what they need for their projects. It’s honest work, and the days go by pretty fast when there are customers coming in and out of the shop constantly. We just try to keep the place organized enough so we can actually find what someone is looking for without searching too long.
