Shukla Engineering

Shukla Engineering is located at 3/9, Nagarjun Road, right in the B-Zone of Durgapur-5. If you know this part of Dist-Burdwan, you know it can get pretty busy with all the industrial stuff going on. Our shop is not very big but we have packed it with as many tools as we could fit. It gets really loud inside when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We have been on Nagarjun Road for quite some time now. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so we walk or take a cycle to the shop every morning. It is a simple setup with oily floors and heavy metal parts sitting in the corners. We do not do much advertising because most of our work comes from people just walking in or someone telling their cousin about us. The summer heat in Durgapur is no joke, especially when you are working near hot machinery, so we drink a lot of tea and water to keep going. We handle a lot of different repairs and small parts for people around the B-Zone. It is not glamorous work by any means. You get grease under your fingernails and it never really comes out. We just keep our heads down and get the jobs done as they come in. Sometimes we stay late if a machine breaks down and someone needs it fixed by the next morning.
