Maa Engineering Works

Maa Engineering Works is located in Jamuria, right on Nandi Road. Most people find us by looking for the BSNL Telephone Exchange, which is just a short walk away. It is a familiar spot for everyone in this part of Burdwan. We have been here for years, doing all sorts of repair and fabrication work. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with scraps and tools everywhere, but we know exactly where everything is kept. It is a local shop through and through. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; word usually gets around by people just talking to each other. When someone has a problem with a piece of equipment, they bring it over, and we see what we can do. Some days are slow, and we just sit by the road watching the traffic go by for a bit. Other days, we are working late into the evening to finish a job for someone who needs it urgently. The heat in Burdwan can be tough in the summer, but the fans in the shop keep us moving. We are just a group of workers who take pride in using our hands to fix things. We have seen Jamuria change quite a bit, but our little corner on Nandi Road stays pretty much the same. It is a steady place to work, and we are happy to be here. We don't make things complicated; we just fix what needs fixing and move on.
