Burdwan Institute Of Management Studies

This place is out in Borsul, which is part of the Burdwan district. We've been running the institute here for a while now. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but it’s quieter for studying. The building sits on a decent bit of land. We get students from all over the nearby villages and some from further away too. It’s mostly about management courses. We have classrooms that get quite warm in the summer, but the fans work well enough. There’s a bit of a walk from the main road to get to the entrance. The local tea stall nearby is where everyone hangs out between classes. We try to keep the library stocked, though sometimes books go missing for a bit. It’s a simple setup. Most of the staff live around here or take the bus in every morning. We don’t have those fancy glass buildings you see in the city. It’s just brick and mortar. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep green, though the goats sometimes get in. It feels like a small community really. Everyone knows everyone else's name after a semester. We just focus on getting the classes done and making sure the students have what they need to learn. Nothing flashy, just a school in a rural spot doing its thing day by day. We like it this way.
