Zishaans Pan Shop

Zishaans Pan Shop has been sitting in Megh Market for a good while now. If you know Vadgaon Sheri, you know how this market gets in the evenings. It’s pretty loud and there are people everywhere buying vegetables or just walking around. Our shop is just a small spot where we keep our things. We open up in the morning when the sun isn't too hot yet. Most of the time, I’m just sitting there arranging the leaves and making sure we have enough supari and tobacco for the day. It’s not a big fancy place, just a counter and some shelves. We get all kinds of people coming by. Some are just passing through and want a quick sweet pan, while others live right here in Vadgaon Sheri and stop to talk for a bit. The market can get a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it is. We don’t have any big signs or anything. People just know where we are. Usually, the afternoons are slow, so I just sit and watch the traffic go by. When it rains, the water splashes near the front, but we stay dry under the roof. It’s a simple way to make a living. We don’t do anything special, just the usual things you’d find at a local stall. If you’re around Megh Market, you’ll see us there near the other shops.
