You can find us at Plot Number 51 inside the B. U. Bhandari Industrial Estate over in Sanaswadi. It’s a bit of a drive out to Shikrapur, but this is where all the industrial action is. We started Zen Techno Engineering because we liked the idea of making things that actually work. Our floor is filled with machines and the smell of cutting oil, which is how an engineering shop should be. We don’t have a fancy lobby or someone to greet you at the door with a smile. Usually, you’ll have to find one of us on the shop floor to get any help. We do a lot of custom work and technical parts. Some days are slow and we spend them cleaning the tools, while other days are a total rush to meet a deadline. We’ve had our ups and downs like any other small business, but we keep the lights on and the machines running. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time and they know exactly how each piece of equipment behaves. We don’t bother with big marketing plans. We just focus on the drawings and making sure the final parts are right. It’s a noisy, busy place but it’s ours. We just want to do a decent job every day and head home knowing we built something useful. We don't try to look bigger than we are.
