We operate out of Plot No. W-223 in the S Block of MIDC Bhosari, right here in Pune. Life at Dhanashree Engineering & Fasteners Pvt. Ltd. revolves around nuts, bolts, washers, and all those small things that hold bigger machines together. The warehouse part of our building is stacked high with plastic bins and heavy burlap sacks full of hardware. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, and sometimes it feels like we are drowning in thousands of tiny metal pieces. The machines that make these parts are pretty loud and they run for hours on end. We have a small team that handles the packing and the shipping. Most of the time, we are busy counting out orders and making sure the right sizes go into the right boxes. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s necessary for every other industry around us. The office is small and usually has a few samples of bolts lying around on the desks. We deal with a lot of regular customers who just drop in when they run out of supplies. The traffic in Bhosari can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early. We don't make big promises; we just try to keep the bins full and the orders moving out the door. It’s a steady, practical business that we’ve built up over the years through a lot of hard work.
