Pooja Engineering

Our shop is located at S. No. 10 in the Prasad Indl. Complex, right on Talawade Road here in Pune. Being in an industrial complex means there is always a lot of clanging and banging going on from the neighbors. Pooja Engineering has a small unit where we keep our lathes and other equipment. The floor has some oil stains that never quite come out, but that shows we actually do work here. Talawade is a busy hub, so there is always a lot of movement on the road outside. We usually start our day quite early before the traffic gets too bad. Most of the time, it is just us focused on the blueprints or measuring parts. We don't wear suits or sit in air-conditioned rooms. It is more about the smell of cutting oil and the heat from the machines. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just sit outside on the steps and chat until it comes back on. We have been doing this for years, so we know the quirks of every machine in the shop. Pune is a big city, but our corner of it feels like a small village because we know all the other workshop owners in the complex. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone needs something made, they just drop by the Prasad complex and ask for us.
