If you ever find yourself driving through the J-14 block in MIDC Bhosari, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. That’s just the nature of engineering work. We’ve been set up in this spot for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but the equipment inside is what matters. We do a lot of heavy lifting here, literally and figuratively. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by ten in the morning, and the tea guy knows exactly when to show up because we’re all looking for a break. It’s a tight-knit crew at Yelmesh. Most of the guys have been here since they were young, learning how to handle the machines and the heat. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Our office is just a small room with a desk piled high with invoices and old blueprints that have been folded too many times. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we all just sit outside on the steps and talk until it comes back. It's not a glamorous job, but there's a certain pride in seeing a finished piece of work ready to be shipped out. We just focus on the task at hand, making sure things are measured right and the cuts are clean. That's really all there is to it at the end of the day.
