Yash Electronics Dish & Mobile Shoppee

Down in Khondhwa at Transport Nagar 9, we run Yash Electronics Dish & Mobile Shoppee. We ended up doing both dish TV and mobile phones because that’s what people in the area were asking for. Our shop is usually pretty cluttered with satellite dishes, long coils of black cable, and phone accessories. It’s a bit of a squeeze to move around when we get a delivery of new stock. Most of the time, we’re out helping someone get their signal back or trying to figure out why a set-top box isn't working right. The dust from the transport hub nearby gets into everything, so we’re constantly wiping down the display units. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Pune, we just want to make sure the people in Transport Nagar have a place nearby where they can get their electronics sorted without a long trip. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of cable and have to wait for the delivery guy, which can be a bit annoying for everyone. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the drivers who stop by while they’re waiting for their loads. It’s a practical business, nothing too fancy about it. We don't have a uniform or a script, we just talk to people like normal and try to fix their problems. It’s been our life for a good while now. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go on this street, but we’re still here.
