Our office is over on Sinhagad Road 20J-3. It is a regular building and we are just one of the units inside. Nabr Communication Pvt Ltd is where we handle a lot of technical stuff related to phones and networks. There are wires everywhere. If you looked under the desks, you would see a mess of cables that we keep meaning to tie up properly but never get around to. We spend most of the day looking at screens or talking on headsets. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. The windows look out onto the street, but we usually keep the blinds down because of the glare on the monitors. We keep a kettle in the corner for making coffee because the days can get pretty long. It is not a fancy corporate space with glass walls. It is just a place where work happens. We have some whiteboards with scribbles and numbers that probably only we understand. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to stop for a minute, which is funny considering what we do. Most people who work here have been around for a while. We know each other's habits and who leaves their lunch in the fridge too long. It is a steady environment. We just try to get through the pile of tasks we have for the day. No big speeches or anything, just doing the job as it comes.
