Universe Communications

Our shop, Universe Communications, is located on Aundh D P Road at 4 2. It’s a busy spot in a part of town that never really seems to go to sleep. We’ve been here long enough to see the street change from a few quiet shops to a place where you can hardly find parking. Our space is fairly small and filled with all sorts of wires, gadgets, and tools for fixing things. We don't have a fancy interior designer or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered with shelves holding stock and customer repairs. You can hear the hum of the computers and the constant sound of traffic from D P Road right outside the door. Most days involve a lot of small tasks, like helping someone with a connection problem or setting up a new piece of hardware. We don't use any complicated systems to run things; we just write notes in a big ledger and check them off when the job is finished. It’s a bit cramped when a few customers come in at once, but people don't seem to mind waiting a bit. We usually get our lunch from the small eatery next door. It’s just a practical, local business where we try to stay on top of the technical stuff without making it sound more difficult than it is. We like being in Aundh because everything we need is right within walking distance and we know the regulars.
