Gayatri Electricals & Electronics

Gayatri Electricals & Electronics is a small shop located in Kothrud, right near Suryaprabha Nursing 1. If you live in this part of town, you've probably walked past us a dozen times. We sell all the usual things you would expect, like wires, switches, and those little spare parts that always seem to go missing. The shop is pretty packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually have it buried somewhere. We don't just sell things though; we also spend a lot of time fixing broken electronics. People bring in their old lamps or mixers that have stopped working, and we see if we can give them a few more years of life. It is messy work and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. We don't have a big staff, just us and maybe a helper if it’s a busy week. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we have stayed right here. We know most of the people on this block by name. It’s a nice way to run a business because it feels more like helping out neighbors than anything else. We don't bother with fancy displays or big signs. The shop is what it is, and we are fine with that. It's just a local place for people who need their electricity sorted out.
