Verveba Telecom India Pvt. Ltd. has its office on the second floor of the I-Space Kolte Patilit Building. We’re in Office No 201A. It’s a decent building, and being on the second floor means we don’t have to wait for the elevator too often if we’re in a hurry. The office is mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of computer monitors. Since we work in telecom, there’s always some kind of technical issue to look into or a network to monitor. It’s mostly quiet in here, except for the tapping of keyboards and the occasional phone call. We’ve got a small group of people who really know their stuff when it comes to networks and signals. We aren't the type to have big meetings or fancy presentations. Usually, if something needs to be discussed, we just talk across the desks. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve been based in this building for a bit now and we’ve gotten to know the security guards and the other folks who work on this floor. It’s a regular job, and we try to do it well without making a big fuss about it. Sometimes the work gets a bit repetitive, but that’s the nature of the industry. We just keep our heads down and make sure the data keeps moving. There’s a small breakroom where the fridge makes a weird humming sound all day.
