Wokartz

Our office is in the Dhavalgiri building over in Mukund Nagar. It’s a pretty quiet residential area compared to the rest of the city, which I appreciate. Wokartz isn't a very big team, just a few of us working out of this space. We spend a lot of our time on the phones or sitting at the computers. The building itself is sturdy and has been around for a while. There’s a nice tree outside the main window that gives us some shade in the summer months. Mukund Nagar is a bit tucked away, so people sometimes miss the turn if they aren't looking closely at the signs. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and sometimes eat lunch together if things aren't too frantic. The desks are a bit mismatched because we just bought what was available when we moved in. It doesn't look like those sleek offices you see in magazines, but it’s comfortable enough for what we do. Most of our days are spent coordinating things and making sure the work gets done on time. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer it. It's a simple way to work, and it keeps things grounded. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's easy for us to get to and it feels like a home now after all these years of being here.
