Wheels India Limited is situated at Plot No. C-1 in the Ranjangaon Growth Centre. If you have ever driven out that way, you know it is a long stretch of industrial plots and dusty roads. Our place is pretty big because we need the space for all the equipment and materials. Being in a growth centre means there is always construction or something new happening next door. It is a very active environment. Inside our gates, it is all about the production of wheels and related parts. It is noisy, it is busy, and there is always a bit of dust in the air. We have a lot of staff who come in from the surrounding villages and towns. The work is steady and requires a lot of attention to detail, even if the environment feels a bit rough around the edges. We do not have a corporate office with leather chairs; it is mostly metal desks and concrete floors. Lunchtime is when things finally quiet down for a bit before the machines start up again. We have been here for a long time and have seen the whole Ranjangaon area change quite a bit over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have to fill. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. We take a certain pride in the sheer amount of work we get through every week.
