Wel Fab

You can find our shop over at Sneha Paradise in Warje. We are at Shop Number 10, right near the police chowky, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. G T B Nagar is a lively area and there is always something going on. Inside the shop, it is usually quite loud because we are working with metal most of the day. There are sparks and the smell of welding everywhere. It’s a messy job and my clothes usually have some dirt on them by lunch. We do all sorts of fabrication work for people in the neighborhood. Some days we are making gates and other days it is window grills. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with our tools and materials piled up. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front of the shop and we have to move things around. It can be a bit chaotic but we manage. People know us as Wel Fab and they just come by when they have a project in mind. We talk through what they want and we get to work. I’ve been doing this for a long time and the shop has become like a second home. The tea stall next door is where we take our breaks and watch the traffic go by. It’s hard work but we like being part of the local community here in Warje. Most of our customers are regulars who know we’ll get the job done properly.
