You can find us at Shop No 10 in the Manohar Bangla building, which is part of Chetan Heights in Sasane Nagar. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but most locals just know the Sasane Nagar area well enough. The shop is on the ground floor. We have shelves filled with jars and packets of different herbs and mixtures. It smells like earth and dried leaves in here, which some people like and others find a bit strong. The building is older, so the tiles have some cracks here and there. We have a wooden desk where we sit and talk to whoever walks in. Sasane Nagar is a growing place, so there is always construction noise somewhere nearby. We keep a water dispenser in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. The door stays open most of the day to let the air circulate, even if it brings in some of the dust from the street. We don't have a computer system or anything like that; we still write everything down in big ledger books with blue ink. It takes more time, but it’s how we have always done it. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops pop in just to say hello or ask for the time. It is a quiet life in this little corner of Sasane Nagar, and we like it that way. We just keep doing what we do every day.
