Faljyotisha Chikitsa Mandal

We are based in Kothrud, in a place called D 202. This is the Faljyotisha Chikitsa Mandal. It’s a quiet enough corner in Pune where we do our work. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s more of a local setup where we spend time looking at charts and talking to people who come through the door. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years but it still has a nice feel to it. Our office is simple. We have some books, some chairs, and a desk. Most of the day is spent listening and trying to understand what people are going through. It’s not the kind of job you can rush. Sometimes the tea gets cold because we are in the middle of a long conversation. We’ve been in this building for a while and the neighbors are used to seeing people coming and going. It’s not about being flashy or having the best marketing. We just do the work that people in the area seem to find useful. The room gets some nice light in the morning which makes it a pleasant place to sit. We just take things one day at a time here. It’s honest work and we try to keep a calm atmosphere for everyone who visits. Nothing too complicated about it, just us doing what we’ve been doing for years.
