Gaikwad Ayurveda Medicine

Our shop, Gaikwad Ayurveda Medicine, is located at Shop Number 1533 on Tilak Road. This part of Sadashiv Peth in Pune is always busy with people and traffic. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The building is older, which gives the place a bit of character. We focus on ayurvedic items, so the shop often has a specific scent to it from the herbs and powders. It is a small space, and we have to be careful about how we stack the containers. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are looking for specific traditional remedies. Tilak Road is a major path, so there is never a quiet moment outside. We keep our records in simple books and try to stay on top of the inventory. It's not a modern, shiny store; it’s more of a practical place for people in Pune who need these specific items. Sometimes we run out of space on the shelves and have to use the back room for extra storage. We like being in Sadashiv Peth because it feels like a real community. People stop by to chat even if they don't need to buy anything that day. We just keep things running as best as we can without making it complicated. The wooden counters have some scratches but they have served us well for years now.
