Ramdev

We are located at Shop Number 2 in Vishal Park, right in front of the Marathi School in Chakan. Being near the school means it gets very lively when the kids are coming or going. You can hear the bells and the chatter all day long. Ramdev is our little shop where we spend most of our time. Chakan has grown into such a big industrial hub, but our corner still feels like a small town spot. We keep things simple here. We don't have any big glass displays or expensive lighting. It’s just shelves and a counter where we talk to our customers. Most people who come in are parents from the school or folks living in the Vishal Park buildings. We know a lot of them by name now. If we don't have something, we usually tell people where else they might find it. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls. We just want to be a useful place for the people living nearby. The shop can get a bit cramped when we get a new delivery of stock. We just stack the boxes in the corner until we have time to put everything away. It's a bit messy sometimes but that's just how we work. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and they stop by when they need something. It’s a honest way to earn a living and we hope to stay here for a long time.
