Sunil Medicals is tucked away in the Pune City area, right in the heart of the 411002 zip code. Running a medical store means you don't really get many days off. People need things at all hours, so we are usually here from early morning until quite late at night. The shelves are always packed with different bottles and boxes, and we try our best to keep everything where we can find it quickly. It is a bit of a small space, but we have been here long enough that we know where every single item is kept. We talk to a lot of regulars who live nearby. It is less like a business and more like being part of the neighborhood. We hear about everyone's health and their families while we are looking for their prescriptions. It can be stressful when we are waiting for a delivery of stock that is running low. The streets outside are always noisy with scooters and people walking by. We just focus on the counter and the customers in front of us. We aren't some big pharmacy chain, just a local shop that’s been around for a while. Sometimes the computer acts up or we get a bit behind on the filing, but we catch up eventually. It is just the way things go when you are running a small place. We do our best to stay organized.
