Our office is in the Aashirwad Building, right behind the Saraswat Bank in Vishrantwadi. It’s A-54, part of the Kastruba Society Road. It’s a bit of a mix around here, with houses and small businesses all jumbled together. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and computers and a lot of wires running along the baseboards. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to figure out why a bit of code isn't doing what it's supposed to. It’s not the kind of work you can see from the outside, but we’re in here every day, drinking too much tea and talking about technical stuff. The building is quiet enough, though you can hear the traffic from the main road if you leave the window open. We don't have a big corporate lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It’s just an apartment that we turned into a workspace because it was convenient and close to where some of us live. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the only sound is the hum of the server in the corner. We’re just a small team of people who like solving problems with software. We don't use big words to describe what we do when we’re just talking among ourselves. It’s just work. The walls are mostly bare, except for a couple of whiteboards that are covered in scribbles and diagrams that probably don't make sense to anyone else. It's not a place where we have clients coming in all the time, so we just wear our regular clothes and keep things informal. The parking outside can be a bit of a nightmare because it's a residential society, so we usually just walk or take the bus. We've been in this building for a few years now and the neighbors don't mind us much since we're quiet. It's funny how much work gets done in such a plain-looking room. We don't have any awards on the wall or anything official looking. We just have our laptops and a few comfortable chairs. It’s a bit messy with all the cables and the stacks of old tech magazines, but it’s our space and it works for us.
