Vinayak Food Products

Down at Hingane Khurd 1, you will find Vinayak Food Products. We aren’t really a restaurant where you sit down and eat a full meal. It is more of a production space where we handle all the food items we make. Most of the day is spent measuring ingredients and checking the packaging. The floors are usually covered in some kind of flour or spice by the end of the shift. We are tucked into a corner of Hingane Khurd 1, and it stays pretty busy with people coming in and out to move stock. It’s not a very glamorous job. We wear our aprons all day and try to keep up with the orders that come in. The building itself is just a plain structure, nothing that would catch your eye if you were just driving past. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. Word usually gets around just by people trying what we make. It’s just a small group of us working here. We have a couple of machines that make a lot of noise, so you have to shout a bit to be heard sometimes. We start early when the air is still cool because once the sun hits Hingane Khurd, it gets quite warm inside the workspace. We just focus on getting the bags sealed and the boxes stacked up ready for the morning delivery. There is always a stack of paperwork to do too.
