Vimal Cellular is tucked away in Sadashiv Peth 2. If you know Sadashiv Peth, you know it’s full of narrow lanes and old buildings. Our shop fits right into that scene. It’s a small place, mostly filled with mobile accessories and a few phones on display. The walls are lined with cases and cables of all colors. We spend most of our time at the main counter. It’s where everything happens, from taking in a phone for repair to helping someone figure out their new settings. It can get a bit cramped when the afternoon rush starts. People in this part of town like to stop by and chat while they get their work done. We’ve got a small stool for customers to sit on if they have to wait. There’s no fancy lighting or big signs, just the name above the door and our stuff inside. The sounds of the Peth are always there in the background, scooters zooming by and people talking. We keep a simple schedule, opening up in the morning and closing when the street gets quiet. Sometimes we have to hunt for parts for older phone models that people still use. It’s part of the job. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We’re just a local mobile shop helping out the folks who live and work in Sadashiv Peth. It’s steady work and we enjoy being here.
