Om Communication

Om Communication is based in Baramati at Gunawadi Chowk, number 26. It’s a small shop right in the heart of a busy intersection. There’s always something going on outside, with people moving through the chowk and the sound of horns throughout the day. Our shop is simple, with a couple of glass counters for phones and a small area in the back where we do repairs. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning or fancy lighting. We just have a couple of ceiling fans that do their best to keep the heat away. Most of our day is spent helping people with their mobile phones, whether it's a recharge or a screen that needs fixing. We talk to a lot of people from the neighborhood, so it feels very local. We don't have a big corporate structure or any polished manuals. We just learned how to fix things by doing them over and over again. The shelves are filled with assorted chargers and cables that we’ve collected. It’s a bit messy, but we can usually find what a customer is looking for after a bit of digging. We’ve been at this chowk for years and have seen plenty of neighbors come and go. We don't do any flashy advertising because most of our customers are people who just walk in while they're out doing their errands. It’s just a straightforward, small-town business where we try to get things done as they come through the door.
