Vikram Iron & Steel Co. Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 524/252 on New Timber Market Road. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Sonmarg Cinema. It is a good landmark because everyone knows the cinema. Our yard is full of iron and steel parts. It gets pretty busy because of the market location. There are trucks coming in and out all day long. We try to keep the gate clear but it is a tight fit sometimes. We handle the heavy lifting. It isn't easy work, and your back might ache at the end of the day, but we are used to it. The office is small and usually has a bit of dust from the road. We don't mind. We have been doing this for a long time. People come in asking for specific lengths of steel or iron rods. We help them find what they need in the stacks. Sometimes we have to move ten things just to get to one piece at the bottom. That is just part of the job. We don't have any big corporate goals or things like that. We just want to sell the steel we have and make sure the customer gets what they paid for. It’s a plain business. We just open up in the morning and do our work until it's time to close. It feels good to see a loaded truck leave our yard.
