Vikas Infra Steel

Started out in Kalamboli Steel Market years ago. Our plot, 1629 Abc, is usually busy with trucks coming in and out all day. It’s quite dusty here in Kalamboli, but that’s just how the steel market is. We spend most of our time checking orders and making sure the inventory is right. The guys in the yard know their stuff when it comes to different types of steel. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a place where work gets done. Sometimes the heat is a bit much, but we keep going. People know where to find us. We deal with all sorts of infrastructure materials and it's mostly about getting things loaded onto the lorries without too much delay. We see a lot of regular faces around here. Every morning we open up and start sorting through what came in the night before. Kalamboli is a loud place, but we like being right in the middle of it. If you walk past the main gate, you’ll see the stacks of metal. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth from other people in the market. It’s a simple operation. We just focus on what’s in front of us. The ledgers stay on the desk and the phone rings quite a bit. That’s about it for us at Vikas Infra Steel. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It helps to have a routine. We've seen the market change over time, but the work stays the same.
