Vikas Ashtekar

Vikas Ashtekar is located at 589 B/26 Gultekdi. Our place is right near the Bhidbhanjan Mandir, which makes it pretty easy for people to give directions to us. The bells from the mandir are something we hear every day and it gives the area a nice feeling. We have a modest setup here in Gultekdi. It’s not the biggest space, but it has enough room for what we need to do. Most of our day is spent handling different tasks that come up. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in our office. It’s just a regular workspace with some chairs and a few tables. We like it this way because it’s practical. Living and working in this part of town has its own rhythm. The mornings are usually the busiest when everyone is heading out. By the afternoon, things quiet down a bit and we can catch up on our paperwork. We don’t use any complicated systems or big words to describe what we do. We just work hard and try to be honest with everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello, which is always nice. It’s a friendly spot and we feel lucky to be a part of it. We keep our doors open and just take things one day at a time.
