Vento-O-Fab

Vento-O-Fab is located right over on Sinhagad Road in Sadashiv Peth, near the BridgeGadgil Street 768/1 spot. We do fabrication work here. It’s a lot of metal, noise, and dust most days. The shop isn't very large, so things tend to pile up near the entrance if we have a big project going on. We make gates, window grills, and sometimes smaller custom bits that people bring drawings for. Most of our tools have been with us for years. They look old but they still get the job done right. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We try to sweep up, but it just gets dirty again ten minutes later. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot in the summer. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. Customers usually just drop by to talk about what they need. We don't have a fancy office or anywhere to sit, so we just talk over the sound of the grinders. Sometimes we have to shout a bit. The address at 768/1 is easy to find if you know the bridge area. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. It's a family-run kind of setup. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are by word of mouth. It's just us and the machines every day. We don't mind the grime as long as the work gets done.
