Vardhman Special Steels

Vardhman Special Steels is located in the Datir Patil Colony in Chinchwad, Pune. We are right near the Datir Patil Field, which is a big open space that everyone in the area knows. Being in Ramnagar means we are in a very busy part of the city. We deal with steel, so our yard is usually full of heavy metal rods and various plates. It is a noisy place with the sound of metal clanging and trucks coming in to load up. Our office is just a small room at the edge of the property where we keep our files and take phone calls. It is quite a contrast to the rest of the yard. We have a small team of workers who are used to the heavy lifting and the grease that comes with the job. Pune weather can be unpredictable, and we have to make sure the steel is protected during the monsoon season. We do not have any big corporate slogans or a fancy entrance. It is just a gate and a yard. We spend our days measuring and cutting steel to the sizes people need. It is straightforward work that does not require much talking. We take our tea breaks together and then get back to the yard. It is a practical, local business that has been part of the Chinchwad landscape for a long time.
