Vaibhavi General And Kirana Stores

We are located at Satpute Niwas in Shivshambho Nagar, right in Lane Number 4. This is the Katraj area, off the Katraj Kondhawa Road. It’s a residential neighborhood, so most of our customers are people who live in the surrounding houses. The shop is at Shop No 1, and it’s a typical kirana store where we keep things like sugar, tea, flour, and household cleaners. The lane isn't very wide, so it's mostly people walking in rather than driving. I spend my day sitting near the entrance, greeting the neighbors and helping them pick out what they need. Sometimes the kids come in after school to buy small candies or chips. It can get a bit quiet in the middle of the day when everyone is at work or school, so that’s when I do most of the stocking and tidying up. The shelves are filled right to the ceiling because we try to keep a bit of everything. It's a family-run kind of thing, so there’s usually someone around even if I have to step out for a minute. We don't have big signs or bright lights, just the name on the front and the stuff in the window. It feels like a part of the community here in Shivshambho Nagar. Living and working in the same area means you know everyone’s business, but that’s just how it goes in a local lane like this one.
