V. K Enterprises

We are located in Building No D, Flat No 4, within the Pragati Park area of Gadatal, Hadapsar. Being in a flat means we have to be a bit careful about how much space we use for the enterprise. We are quite close to Sanjeevni Hospital, so there are always ambulances and cars moving around the neighborhood. Our living room has basically been turned into an office and storage space. We have desks pushed against the walls and boxes of parts or documents stacked in the hallway. It is a bit of a squeeze when we get a large shipment in. The balcony is where we keep some of the larger items under a tarp. We spend our days mostly at the computers or packing small parcels to send out. The kitchen is where we take our breaks and have some snacks while talking about the work. It is a quiet residential complex for the most part, except for the hospital traffic nearby. We have a small sign on the door so people know they have the right flat. Most of our work is done on the phone or through the mail. The walls are a pale cream color and are mostly covered with calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. It is a simple way to run things without the cost of a big warehouse. We usually finish our work and clear the desks before the evening meal. It is just a normal home-based business.
