You can find us at Unit No 20 in Yadav Vyapar Bhavan. It’s on Shivaji Road, right behind the Mitra Mandal Ganpati Temple. Being in the Bommasandra Industrial Estate means it's always noisy and there’s a lot of movement. Uzazi Fashions is just a small part of this big area in Shukrawar Peth. We’ve been in this unit for a bit, and it’s mostly filled with sewing machines and rolls of cloth. It isn't a place for a quiet chat, that’s for sure. We spend our hours focused on the production line. The temple nearby is a good landmark because the industrial estate can get confusing for people who don't visit often. Our space is functional. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just see us busy at the tables. We handle a lot of the work ourselves. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We've got a rhythm down now after being here so long. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We deal with local suppliers mostly. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s home for the business. We focus on getting the stitches right and making sure the counts are correct before things leave the shop. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town.
