Priyanka

My name is Priyanka, and this is my business here in Chinchwad, Pune. It’s just a small setup I’ve got going on. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I decided to keep my work close to home. Chinchwad is a bustling place with lots of small shops and big factories everywhere. My office isn't anything special to look at, just a room with a desk, a couple of chairs, and my computer. I handle a bit of everything, depending on what the day brings. Sometimes it’s consulting, other times it’s helping people with their paperwork. People from the neighborhood often drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. I don't have any big slogans or marketing plans. I just try to do honest work and help out the people who come to me. The streets outside are always noisy with the sounds of rickshaws and people talking, but I’ve grown used to it over the years. Some days are very busy and I stay late into the evening, while other days are a bit quieter. I don't have a big staff, so I do most things myself. It’s a simple way of living and working. I like being my own boss and knowing the people I work with. Pune is a fast city, but in my little corner of Chinchwad, things feel a bit more personal. I just keep going, day by day.
