Our place is right there in Sadashiv Peth, across from the Bharat Natyam Mandir. It is a busy part of Pune and there is always something going on outside the door. We started Khadadi because we wanted a small spot for people to grab something to eat without any hassle. The building is older, like many in this area of the city. You’ll see us there most days from morning until late at night. We get a lot of people who are coming from the theatre shows or just walking through the Peth on their way home. It can get a bit crowded during the weekends, but that is how it goes here. There isn't much space for a lot of people to stand around inside, so it is mostly quick stops for most folks. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big menu with lots of pages. Just what we can manage every day for our regulars. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a while. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets too busy for me to handle alone. We’ve been at this address for a good amount of time now. The neighbors know us well and stop by to say hello. It’s just a normal shop where you get what you need and go. We keep the counters clean and just keep working. If you are in the area near the Mandir, you will probably see our sign. It's a humble little corner.
