Uttam Steel & Varieties

We have been at Shop No 3 in Shriram Towers for a good while now. It is right on Aundh Nanubhai Desai Road, not too far from the C P Tank area. Uttam Steel & Varieties is what we call our shop. We mostly just keep different types of steel items and other various things people might need for their daily work or home projects. It is a small spot but we try to keep plenty of stock packed in there. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the delivery trucks come to drop off new materials. Most of the people around this neighborhood know where we are. We do not do any fancy advertising or anything like that. People usually just walk in because they saw our sign while passing by or someone told them we had what they were looking for. The road outside can get quite busy during the daytime. We spend most of our hours just organizing the shelves or chatting with the regulars who stop in to check on prices. If you are looking for a specific steel piece, we might have it tucked away in the back corner somewhere. It is definitely not a fancy showroom. It is just a regular shop where we try to keep things moving along. We open up the shutters early and stay until the evening. The C P Tank area is a good landmark if you are trying to find Shriram Towers. We have seen this street change a lot over the years.
