Urban Kitchen

Urban Kitchen is located in the Sunshree Building, which is E 1 on Nibm Road in Khondhwa. It's a pretty lively area with a lot of apartment buildings and shops all around us. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area, obviously, preparing different dishes for the people around here. It gets quite warm in there when all the burners are going at once, but you get used to it after a while. The Nibm Road is a main path for people living in this part of Khondhwa, so there is always a lot of activity outside our windows. We have a few tables, but a lot of what we do is just getting food ready for people to take home or for delivery guys to pick up. The Sunshree Building is easy to find, and we've been here for a bit now. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big sign with lots of lights. It's just a functional kitchen where we focus on the cooking part of the day. Sometimes the deliveries get backed up when the rain starts or the traffic on Nibm Road gets blocked, which happens more often than you'd think. We just keep the orders moving as fast as we can. It’s a lot of chopping, stirring, and cleaning up grease at the end of the shift. We are just a local spot making food for the neighborhood without making a big fuss.
