We are located near Popular Nagar in the Warje area of Pune. Universal Construction Machinery And Equipment Ltd is our name, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. Warje is a busy spot, especially with the highway being so close by, which makes it easier for us to move the big machines in and out without getting stuck in the smaller city streets. Our yard is usually a bit of a mess with parts and equipment, but we know where everything is kept. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a polished showroom or fancy lights. It’s a working yard through and through. We spend our days dealing with the grit and grime of construction machinery. There is always a smell of diesel and old grease in the air, which we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We have a small group of guys who have been with us for a while. We aren't interested in being some huge corporate entity with lots of rules. We just want to do right by the people who use our gear. When the sun goes down over Pune, we’re usually still here finishing up the last of the paperwork or loading a trailer for an early start the next day. It’s a simple life, focused on machines and the people who run them. We like being in Warje because it’s practical and down-to-earth, just like the work we do.
