Universal Computer Institute

We are located in Building No 2 on Baner Road here in Pune. Universal Computer Institute is basically a few rooms where we have rows of computers set up for people to learn on. It’s not a high-tech campus or anything like that, just a practical space where people come to get some skills. The air conditioning is usually running because the machines get warm, and you can hear the sound of typing most of the afternoon. We started this because we noticed a lot of people in the area wanted to learn how to use software or just understand computers better for their jobs. Most of us who work here have been using computers for years, so we just pass on what we know. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We have students of all ages, from kids to older folks who are just curious. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of life here. We don't have a big marketing budget or flashy ads. People usually find us because they live nearby or a friend told them about the place. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for when everyone is talking during a break. We’re just here to help people get comfortable with technology, one step at a time, without making it too difficult.
