Ujjawal General Stores

Ujjawal General Stores is located in the Ratndeep Building on LBS Road. We are right in the Navi Peth-Sadashiv Peth area of Pune, 411030. You can find us pretty easily because we are near the Bank of Maharashtra branch. This is a busy part of Pune with lots of students and office people walking around all the time. The shop is filled with all the little things someone might need during their day, like pens, notebooks, and snacks, along with regular groceries. The building is older, and the shop has a certain character because of it. We do not have a lot of space, so everything is tucked into every available inch of the walls. It gets quite lively in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. I usually have a radio playing in the background while I work. We keep things like soap, oil, and bread right near the front for quick access. It is a simple setup without any corporate polish or fancy branding. Most of the people who come here have been doing so for years. We know their families and what they usually buy. Sometimes it feels more like a community gathering spot than just a store. It is just a basic general store trying to keep up with the busy life of Pune city. We just stay open and wait for the next person.
