Ugam Agency

We have been operating Ugam Agency for quite some time now at 398 Ganesh Peth. Our location is right by the Dulya Maruti Chowk, so it stays pretty busy around here. The streets are narrow and usually filled with people and carts, which makes deliveries a bit of a challenge sometimes. Inside the shop, things are simple. We have old wooden desks and stacks of ledgers that have been around since my father ran the place. It is not a modern office by any means. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through the new stock and making sure the numbers match up. There is a lot of noise from the temple nearby and the traffic, but we are used to it. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to sit and talk about the news. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine. The walls could use some paint and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it gets the job done. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the books straight. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise until we close up the shutters at night. We don't do anything fancy like advertising in the papers. People in the market just know where we are if they need anything. It’s a local life and we like the rhythm of this neighborhood.
